at everyone who got rickrolled by my last journal. Don't feel too bad though, someone managed to rickroll me at least two times recently and scar me with porn loops.

I've been really busy and haven't had time to upload anything, and it doesn't look like I'll be able to any time soon. I'm either in class, at work, in office hours, looking for places to live for when my housing contract is up, or at a coed frat event (I'm pledging ). This doesn't really leave time for anything else. I barely squeeze in time to see my friends and stuff. Because I didn't spend any time studying, I have to drop one of my classes due to poor quiz scores. It made me feel rather stupid and inadequate, but I'm over it now.

My Canon SD1100 and its LCD cover have both arrived. Now to purchase an SD card.

This weekend will be a nice breather. I'll be getting my hair trimmed and nails done, because...THERE'S A FORMAL NEXT SATURDAY. It's hosted by the pre law frat I'm pledging for, and I haven't asked anyone to go with me yet.

I want to thank everyone who was there for me through the past couple of weeks. March was complete hell, and I don't think I would've been able to make it through without your support. I'm still hurting and missing him, but I'm overall feeling a lot better now. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful group of people who care.

Love and Memories by O.A.R. (Of A Revolution)

For those who have been wondering (and even those who haven’t), the last couple of journals I’ve written concerned one person I had fallen head over heels for. About a week ago, I discovered who he really was, a player. It was too late for me; I had already given myself to him, physically and emotionally. He got what he wanted, and when I asked for a shred of his loyalty in return, he left. Naturally, I was crushed, but I really had no one to talk to and fell into a nasty state of mind. My best friend is my biggest source of support, but she’s in another country at the moment, and can’t call my cell phone. There’s a big difference between talking on the phone and sending facebook messages back and forth.
I didn’t and still don’t want to eat. I know no one, including me, deserves to feel the agony I feel, but I can’t help but wonder what was wrong with me that made him leave me like this. What was it that made him discard me like a disposable paper cup?
I run everything that happened during the short time I knew him, and it just doesn’t make sense. I felt a warmth and closeness when he was around, and a bitter coldness when he wasn’t. The two just don’t match up at all. I knew he was a bit of a selfish prick, but I didn’t anticipate this at all. How can any person be this selfish and emotionless? Sure, you see it on TV in soap operas, but these things just don’t happen in reality, right?
I know all that’s left is to move on, but it’s so much harder than it sounds. The feeling of helplessness when you’ve been hurt is the worst. It’s like being a paraplegic. The frustration and feeling of weakness are overwhelming.
And all of this couldn’t have happened at a worse time. I have a ten page paper due next Monday, and three finals I have yet to study for. I can’t get this mess out of my head long enough to concentrate on anything, so I’m typing this journal in hopes that it will help me cope, and in hopes that someone will be able to offer words to soothe the pain and heartache.
